Protect the South Carolina You Love.
Conservation Voters of South Carolina (CVSC) was established 20 years ago to hold state legislators accountable for their environmental votes through bipartisan political action. Since then, we’ve established ourselves as the political voice of the conservation movement in South Carolina.

We’ll keep you up to date on pressing environmental issues facing our state, and we’ll be in touch with ways to advance conservation policy together.
South Carolina’s treasured landscapes tell the story of our state and its people. Protecting these places ensures that the land, the stories it tells, and the environmental benefits it provides will endure for generations.
We fight every day to secure tools for land protection that are available to all communities throughout our state. Through legislative advocacy, agency and community partnerships, and support of state and local conservation funding efforts, we draw attention to the need for conservation tools and resources to bring them to fruition.
Clean & Plentiful Water
Our waterways connect us all. From the headwaters in the upstate to our ocean coastline, water issues touch all of us. Clean and plentiful water is absolutely essential for wildlife, ecosystem health, and community health.
CVSC’s clean water efforts work at the intersection of public health, natural resource management, and environmentalism. Through legislative and regulatory advocacy, community partnerships, and grasstops education, we raise the profile of clean water needs throughout South Carolina and launch the strategic campaigns necessary to deliver results.
Take Action Now
CVSC is fighting at the State House, the ballot box, and within communities to double the amount of protected land across the state and ensure that every South Carolinian has access to clean and plentiful water for drinking and recreation.
