Bills

This bill establishes new requirements for large load customers above 50 MW in an effort to protect existing customers from cost-shifting and local communities from negative environmental impacts. This bill introduces promising provisions for new large loads such as new contract requirements, financial assurances, and electrical and water use reporting that effectively balances new development while also protecting South Carolinians and safeguarding our natural resources. We hope to see this bill move through the committee process.
