Expanding access to energy efficiency measures is a great way for South Carolina businesses to be more sustainable and resilient. H.3812, identical to Davis’ bill in the Senate (S.256), was introduced to start a Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy Program, or C-PACE. If implemented, the program would make it easier for businesses to access financing options to help fund those projects through a voluntary tax assessment. Financing options can make these measures more affordable and easier to implement.
