Below is sample language to provide to your advisor when leaving a gift for the environment in your will, trust, or other planned giving instrument:
“I hereby give and bequeath $___, or ___ percent of the residue of my estate to Conservation Voters of South Carolina, a South Carolina nonprofit corporation exempt from Federal taxation under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code, 712 Richland Street Suite A, Columbia, SC 29201, Federal tax ID number 58-2420153.“
