Here’s the REAL reason you’ll want to come to the Green Tie Luncheon
Have you heard the BIG news?
We have an AMAZING group of honorees at this Year’s ninth annual Green Tie Awards Luncheon! And I wanted to personally invite you to be there when they receive their awards on September 20.
Sure, I know you usually come to Green Tie for the incredible lunch menu showcasing our southern culinary tradition. Or the wide array of SC-grown products. Or the unique opportunity to see old friends and network with new friends. Or even the rare chance to have a signature cocktail during lunch.
And all those things will be at this Year’s Green Tie Luncheon.
BUT…
I’m most excited about our slate of honorees.
This Year’s Green Tie honorees represent a group of conservation champions whose commitment to our air, land, and water serve as an inspiration to us all.
-
In recognition of his work at the Lake Conestee Nature Park and decades spent fighting to protect the Saluda, Reedy, and other SC waterbodies, Dr. Dave Hargett will receive this Year’s Lifetime Conservation Achievement Award.
-
For his enduring commitment to protecting our coasts from offshore drilling and preserving the places that tell the unique story of our state’s history, Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling will receive the Harriet Keyserling Conservation Advocacy Award.
-
This Year’s legislative honorees will include Senator Thomas McElveen (D, Sumter), Representative Gary Clary (R, Clemson) and the late Representative Joe Neal (D, Richland – posthumous) for their tireless work to protect the rights of citizens to clean air and water.
So will you join us at the ninth annual Green Tie Awards Luncheon?>>
