2026 Dates & Deadlines

| March 16 | Candidate filing opens. Candidates may begin requesting a Candidate Feedback Form by emailing [email protected]. The feedback form may also be downloaded in PDF here. |
| March 30 | Candidate filing closes at noon. |
| April 8 | Candidate Feedback Forms are due to CVSC by 5pm on this date for primary election considerations. |
| Mid-Late April | CVSC releases primary election endorsements. |
| Mid May | CVSC may release additional endorsements. |
| June 11 | Endorsements may be released for runoff elections. |
| July 31 | Candidate Feedback Forms are due to CVSC by 5 pm for general election considerations. |
| Early September | CVSC releases additional general election endorsements. |
| Mid October | CVSC may release additional general election endorsements. |
| Ongoing | Our staff and Board will complete a limited number of candidate interviews to evaluate leadership potential and positions on issues. |
