Are we ‘on the edge’?

What does it look like when natural beauty meets explosive development?

That’s what photographer and South Carolina native J. Henry Fair set out to capture in his “On the Edge: From Combahee to Winyah” gallery, now on display at the City Gallery at Waterfront Park in Charleston.

I’ve had a chance to view the show and friend, it is stunning

That’s why we (the Conservation Voters of South Carolina and the Lowcountry Land Trust) chose it as the backdrop for an exciting conversation about land protection in the Lowcountry next Sunday, February 25th with State Representatives William Cogswell and Robert Brown.

And you definitely won’t want to miss it…

… But you need to REGISTER SOON!

Here’s the link: http://p2a.co/XJv3Hw7

Why do you need to register soon?

Because it won’t cost you a single dollar to attend, but space is VERY LIMITED.

Oh, and did I mention that there will be light refreshments? Because there will!

This special conversation and gallery viewing will be on Sunday, February 25th from 2-4 pm. Again, it’s at the City Gallery at Waterfront Park in Charleston (34 Prioleau St).

We will talk about population growth, sea level rise, our shoreline, and much, MUCH more.

I look forward to seeing you on the 25th (hopefully).
