CVSC’s Next Chapter: Search Committee Formed & Interim President Announced

Following our recent announcement of John Tynan’s upcoming departure, I want to share more about how CVSC’s Board of Directors is guiding this important leadership transition.
The Board has officially formed a committee and is launching a comprehensive search for CVSC’s next president. Our goal is to identify and name a new leader by mid-November, allowing ample time for onboarding before the 2026 legislative session and election year. This process will be deliberate, inclusive, and focused on finding a leader who can build on our momentum, advance our bold 10-year strategic plan, and guide CVSC into its next chapter of impact.

As of September 1, Meredith McNeely is serving as Interim President. John will continue working closely with Meredith through mid-October to ensure a smooth and effective transition.
As many of you are aware, Meredith has been with CVSC for over seven years—first as our Development Director and now as Senior Vice President of Development and Operations. She brings a deep understanding of our organization, its needs, the people who make it work, and the vision that drives us forward. Under her interim leadership, you can expect the same passion, dedication, and strategic focus that have defined CVSC’s work for decades.
