CVSC Endorses Representative Deon Tedder for State Senate District 42

Early voting for the special election will occur from Monday, August 21, until Friday, September 1. Election day is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5, which follows Labor Day. No Republicans are running in the primary, so anyone registered to vote in the district can vote in the primary for the candidate they feel is best.
Senate District 42 encompasses parts of Charleston and North Charleston, with one precinct in Dorchester County.
