Jalen Brooks-Knepfle

Jalen graduated from the College of Charleston with an English major and an environmental studies minor. She then earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, which sparked her interest in energy law and policy.

During law school, she worked with local organizations like South Carolina Environmental Law Project and the Coastal Conservation League, and pursued research opportunities in energy law.

She now lives in Charleston, where she enjoys exploring local parks and volunteering with the Charleston Animal Society.
