Evan Renshaw

Raised along South Carolina’s Grand Strand, Evan developed a deep appreciation for the state’s natural beauty and diverse communities, fueling a lifelong commitment to conservation. He believes those who live closest to and interact most with South Carolina’s environment are the ones best positioned to protect it. Through the power of individual voices, intersectional alignment, and collective action, Evan works to strengthen and grow South Carolina’s conservation movement for all.

Evan holds a degree in Environmental Studies, Geography, and Political Science from the University of South Carolina. Before joining CVSC, he led green consulting initiatives at the University’s Office of Sustainability, supported community resilience planning with the Central Midlands Council of Governments, and promoted clean transportation programs at the South Carolina State Energy Office.

He now lives in Columbia, where he enjoys time with loved ones and exploring the diverse ecosystems of the Palmetto State.
