Duncan Crotwell

Department: Government Relations & Policy
Duncan is a government relations professional that began his career as a congressional intern in Washington, D.C. and has worked as a legislative liaison in South Carolina for the last 6 years, most recently with the S.C. Department of Natural Resources. He graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Political Science, a B.A. in Criminal Justice, and a minor in History.
Duncan’s love for the outdoors, like many South Carolinians, comes as a result of growing up hunting and fishing with his Dad and Grandaddy. Throughout his childhood they instilled in him principles of sportsman’s ethics and sound game and fish management. Duncan credits his passion for public policy and environmental stewardship to his Mom, who spent much of her career serving South Carolina at the former Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC).
When he is not at the Statehouse advocating for conservation, Duncan enjoys hunting deer, turkey, and ducks, fishing for largemouth bass on Lake Murray, playing golf with his friends, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers in Death Valley with his family.
